One-year Retirement Visa
To facilitate the demand of foreigners wishing to retire in Thailand, the government has given
tourists over the age of 50 with the right to apply for a one-year retirement visa. However, this
process is very bureaucratic and tedious. Many foreigners can find it confusing and Thailand
Longstay is here to help tourists who are our members go through this process as smoothly as
possible.
Immigration Procedure
It is also a legal obligation of every tourist with a one-year retirement visa to report his or her
official address in Thailand to the immigration office within 14 days upon his or her entry into
Thailand. As a member of Thailand Longstay, the company will handle this legal obligation
where we will report to the immigration office on behalf of them with required documents from
our members. Therefore a member of Thailand Longstay does not need to report to the
immigration office by him or herself.
